We are taking every measure to ensure the safety and well-belling of our team and customers at The Whyte Melville during the crisis.
Our staff, when returning to work, must complete a mandatory health screening with daily health declarations completed to ensure they are symptom free and fit to work. Any staff member showing symptoms will be immediately sent home and required to self-isolate for 14 days and follow government guidelines before returning to work.
We ask that if you or any accompanying persons in your party are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 that you postpone and re-book when safe to do so.
The team have been briefed and trained in our new enhanced cleaning procedures and the responsibility they have to their colleagues and our guests. High contact points will be deep cleaned every hour.
Signposted hand sanitiser stations are available throughout and we require you use them when you enter the building. We welcome you to use them as often as you wish. The team will be hand washing will be for a minimum of 20 seconds every hour. Personal protective equipment is provided for necessary tasks and in use in accordance with government guidelines.
We have taken all responsible steps to maintain a safe and social distance within the workplace and a 1m social distancing will be observed. Throughout the pub we have reduced seating capacity and ask all our guests not to move the tables or chairs.
We are looking into our technology capabilities to provide guests with a reduced-contact experience.
